NAAMA CASPO GOLDSTEIN - BASS CLARINET

The clarinettist and bass clarinettist Naama Caspo Goldstein has a special focus on chamber music. She is a member of the Liv Quartet and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt.
Her musical education began at the age of nine with clarinet lessons. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance with Prof. Iliya Schwartz and continued her studies at the HfMDK Frankfurt, where she completed her Master of Music in 2021 in the class of Prof. Laura Ruiz Ferreres. She received important impulses through master classes with Björn Nyman, Andreas Sundén, Philippe Berrod, Eli Eban, Guy Yehuda and Philippe Cuper.
Naama Caspo Goldstein has won first prize (solo) at the Jerusalem Academy of Music Wind Competition in 2017 and has won prizes with the Liv Quartet at several international competitions, including the Concours Musiques d’Ensemble (France), the Antón García Abril International Chamber Music Competition (Spain), the Polytechnische Gesellschaft Frankfurt am Main Competition (Germany) and the Concurs Internacional de Música de les Corts (Spain).
From 2018 to 2024 she was a scholarship holder of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Frankfurt e.V. and since 2024 she has received the Deutschlandstipendium.
